Excellent agronomic performance

A post-harvest tillage pass is essential for preparing a superior seedbed in the spring and establishing a strong foundation for operational performance throughout the year. Give your crop the best chance to thrive while mitigating risks at the same time.

Hand holding finely tilled soil

Exceptional performance in tough soil conditions

The Wishek 862NT tandem disc is engineered to excel in difficult soil conditions, featuring industry-leading weight and large concave discs for outstanding performance. Its robust construction enables it to penetrate hard ground and handle heavy residue, while the large discs ensure thorough soil mixing and optimal tillage depth.

Industry-leading weight per blade

The Wishek 862NT weighs approximately 1,488 kg/m (1,000 lbs/ft) of implement. Its 33 cm (13 in) disc spacing provides ample weight per blade to help the unit penetrate the soil when breaking new ground or in other challenging conditions.

Excellent mixing with large concave discs

The Wishek 862NT counts with 76 cm (30 in) diameter concave discs with smooth or notched blades. The large diameter helps to mix high volumes of soil at depths up to 19 cm (7.5 in). The notched option offers better cutting performance when sizing heavy residue or slicing into hard ground.

Improved performance and user convenience

The Wishek 862NT is a tandem disc that features specialized scrapers that prevent mud build-up, ensuring reliable operation in challenging conditions. Additionally, it offers convenient leveling options with either manual or optional hydraulic systems, enhancing user convenience and operational efficiency.

Scrapers prevent mud build-up

The Wishek 862NT is equipped standard with specialized scrapers for the blades, bearings and spools. These scrapers help optimize performance of the disc by keeping the gangs free of mud build-up.

Manual or Hydraulic Leveling Screws

With the Wishek 862NT the discs can be leveled front-to-back manually with leveling screws, offering easy adjustment. For added convenience, an optional hydraulic system allows operators to make this adjustment from the cab.

Protection and precision

The Wishek 862NT is a tandem disc equipped with spring-cushioned gangs that protect the discs from damage by allowing them to move and avoid solid objects. Additionally, the rear feathering discs ensure an even soil profile by eliminating ridges created by the front gangs, resulting in a uniform and precise soil finish.

Spring-cushioned gangs for rock protection

Spring-cushioned gangs on the Wishek 862NT help prevent damage. When the blade strikes a solid object such as a rock, it travels in an arc of 15.2 cm (6 in) rearward and 15.2 cm (6 in) upward for a total of 30.5 cm (12 in), letting it travel over and avoid damage from impact with that object.

Rear feathering blades eliminate ridges

To help create an even soil profile, the Wishek 862NT is equipped with rear feathering blades to remove ridges created by the front gangs.
