Liquid fertiliser system for planters
As an option, the high-speed planter Väderstad Tempo L 8-24 can be equipped with a liquid fertiliser system. The system is fully integrated in the machine, built for the high-speed precision planting that Väderstad Tempo is known for.
Keeps the rate at all times
The operator sets the desired liquid fertiliser rate in terms of litres per hectare. To control the liquid fertiliser metering, flow sensors constantly monitor the output rate. Utilising this real-time feedback of the output, the system automatically maintains the selected output rate at all conditions. Thereby there is no need for calibration.
Wide output range without changing nozzles
To make it easy, the system is designed to enable a wide range of different liquid fertiliser rates without changing nozzles. As an example, the machine can handle standard liquid fertiliser doses from 30 all the way up to 200 litres per hectare without changing nozzles on the machine, at a row spacing of 750mm and 15km/h driving speed.
Row-by-row precision
The liquid fertiliser system is fully integrated in the iPad-based control system Väderstad E-Control, where the driver gains full control of the planting operation in the field. Like the seed metering, the liquid fertiliser also applies row-by-row shut off.
Large fertiliser tank with convenient loading options
The liquid fertiliser system includes a 2,000-litre plastic hopper for liquid fertiliser. Filling the liquid fertiliser tank can be accomplished using an external pump or gravity, or alternatively, via the on-board pump of the machine.
Liquid fertiliser in-furrow or beside the seed row
The liquid fertiliser system allows for in-furrow application directly in the seed row via the row units, ensuring immediate nutrient availability. Alternatively, it can be applied beside the seed row through fertiliser coulters for precise nutrient placement.
