Carrier 925-1225 is a very robust trailed disc cultivator, available in 9.25 and 12.25m working width. It can be fitted with 450 or 470mm discs. With a high working speed, it has a capacity of up to 16 hectares per hour, resulting in low capital costs per hectare. The wide range of front tools offer versatility to different farming requirements.
Carrier is a disc cultivator used for high speed primary tillage and seedbed preparation. The wide range of front tools, discs and packers enables Carrier to handle the versatile challenges of modern farming – from ultra-shallow cultivation to a deeper incorporation. The versatility it brings to the farm saves passes, decreases machine cost per hectare and provides the best start possible for the coming crop.

Discs according to requirement
Carrier 925-1225 can be fitted with either 450mm or 470mm TrueCut discs. Both discs produces fine tilth optimal for a stale seedbed. The 450mm TrueCut disc has small cut-outs, resulting in an intensive cultivation even at a very shallow working depth. The 470mm TrueCut disc has larger cut-outs which can handle more crop residue with increased penetration.
Intensive ultra-shallow tillage
CrossCutter Disc performs outstanding in oilseed rape stubble and in cover crops, while also enabling great advantages in grain stubble as well as on ploughed land. Because of its disc shape and high quality Swedish steel, CrossCutter Disc provides full cultivation and intensive mixing at shallow working depth. This means that an extensive stale seedbed is created over the entire field.
Three CrossCutter Disc axles drastically increase the intensity
A third row of CrossCutter Discs on the Carrier 925 narrows the disc spacing to 8.3 cm. This significantly increases the tillage intensity, fine tilth creation, and residue mixing in the topsoil. In turn, this leads to higher germination rates of weeds and leftover seeds, which can be effectively eliminated with a second pass.
CrossCutter Knife adds versatility
By equipping Carrier 925-1225 with the intensive knife roller CrossCutter Knife, crop residues can be cut in two directions.
Weeds and small-seeded crops, such as oilseed rape, profit from an improved germination. A benefit after grain or sunflowers is the intensified chopping of the straw, giving a faster decomposition. Additionally, cover crops can be crushed and incorporated cost efficiently.
Straw harrow compensates for poor straw distribution
Large combines tend to have a poor straw distribution, leading to an uneven emergence of the next crop.
Equipped with the straw harrow Carrier not only cuts, but also distributes straw in the same pass. Well distributed straw is crucial to provide the following crop with the same conditions over the entire field.

The obvious choice for 12m CTF
The large Carrier 1225 has a working width of 12.25m, this gives a slight overlap required in a 12m CTF-system. Thanks to the x-disc layout, the machine will always run dead straight behind the tractor. This is essential when using GPS-control or when cultivating in hilly terrain.
Great capacity on ploughed land
Equipped with a crushing and levelling CrossBoard, Carrier 925 is able to turn any ploughed land into a seedbed in one pass. Its high speed and wide working width offer an outstanding capacity in this segment.
The double acting stabilising bar attached to the CrossBoard improves levelling further.
Easy and safe to transport
Carrier 925-1225 has the unique Väderstad folding system, giving a fast transition from field to transport. The folding technique has been designed to give the machine a low centre of gravity, resulting in safe manoeuvring.
When folded the transport width is 3m.
Even weight – even result
Carrier 925-1225 is equipped with weight packages in the wing sections. This ensures the weight is evenly distributed across the entire working width without the need for complex hydraulic solutions.
Heavy duty frame – long working life
Carrier 925-1225 has an extremely robust frame, ensuring a long working life even in the toughest of conditions. Its few greasing points reduces the maintenance required leading to more time in field.
BioDrill turns Carrier into a seed drill
Equipped with the mountable small seeder BioDrill 360, Carrier 925-1225 becomes a precise seed drill allowing fast establishment of small-seeded crops, such as oilseed rape and cover crops.
The integrated ground radar provides perfect speed detection. Additionally, the high fan capacity ensures an equal distribution over the entire working width, irrespective of seed size.
BioDrill results in reduced operating costs and time saved.

Zone 2 - Intensive cutting and mixing
Two rows of high quality V-55 hardened Swedish steel discs aggressively cuts and mixes harvest residues down to 12cm working depth. The conical shape of the discs ensures a long working life and good crumbling of the soil.

Zone 3 - Reconsolidation
Carrier can be equipped with packers suitable for a wide range of field conditions. The rubber suspension on the packer absorbs shocks and extends the working life of the frame and the packer.
