CrossCutter Knife improves chopping performance
The CrossCutter Knife is an intensive knife roller designed to cut residue in two directions. It allows for shallow cultivation or deeper tillage with the discs. The short knife segments of CrossCutter Knife provide excellent ground following over the entire working width of the implement.
Intensive chopping and insect prevention
Aggressively chopping residue after harvest promotes faster decomposition. Breaking down the residue intensively also helps prevent insects, such as the European Corn Borer, from overwintering and damaging the following crop.

Cover crops are crushed and incorporated cost efficiently without disturbing the tillage performance.
Designed for long life
The CrossCutter Knife is mounted with a TriForce rubber suspension. This reduces vibration to drastically increase the working life of both the CrossCutter Knife and the implement.
Short segments for precision
Optimum chopping requires ground contact. That's why the CrossCutter Knife has short segments mounted on flat steel. This enables better ground following and the best possible performance.
Low cost per acre
The knives on CrossCutter can be rotated to help minimize cost per acre. To ensure highest quality and performance over time, they are manufactured with specially hardened Väderstad V-55 Swedish steel.
