Excellent agronomic performance

A post-harvest tillage pass is essential for preparing a superior seedbed in the spring and establishing a strong foundation for operational performance throughout the year. Give your crop the best chance to thrive while mitigating risks at the same time.

Hand holding finely tilled soil

Superior performance in challenging soil conditions

The Wishek 842NT is a tandem disc designed to excel in challenging soil conditions, offering industry-leading weight and large concave discs for superior performance. Its heavy build allows it to penetrate hard ground and manage heavy residue, while the large discs ensure thorough soil mixing and optimal tillage depth.

Penetrate hard ground with industry-leading weight

The Wishek 842NT weighs approximately 1,000 lbs/ft of implement. This allows it to penetrate hard ground and heavy residue conditions. It can also maintain depth well to help ensure consistent tillage results.

Large concave discs provide superior mixing

The Wishek 842NT can be equipped with 28 in (71 cm) or 30 in (76 cm) concave discs with smooth or notched blades. The large diameter helps to mix high volumes of soil at depths up to 7.5 in. The notched option offers better cutting performance when sizing heavy residue or slicing into hard ground.

Enhanced performance and ease of use

The Wishek 842NT is equipped with specialized scrapers to prevent mud build-up, ensuring consistent operation in demanding conditions. Additionally, the disc offers convenient leveling options with manual or hydraulic systems, enhancing ease of use and operational efficiency.

Protection and precision

The Wishek 842NT is a tandem disc featuring spring-cushioned gangs that protect the disc from damage by allowing discs to move and avoid solid objects. Additionally, the rear feathering discs ensure an even soil profile by eliminating ridges created by the front gangs, resulting in a uniform and precise soil finish.

Spring-cushioned gangs for rock protection

Spring-cushioned gangs on the Wishek 842NT help prevent damage. When the blade strikes a solid object such as a rock, it travels in an arc of 6 in rearward and 6 in upward for a total of 12 in, letting it travel over and avoid damage from impact with that object.

Rear feathering blades eliminate ridges

To help create an even soil profile, the Wishek 842NT is equipped with rear feathering blades to remove ridges created by the front gangs.
