The Wishek 842NT can be used in the fall to cut and mix the upper soil profile and incorporate residue for fast decomposition. It produces larger clod sizes that help to catch moisture and resist wind erosion over the winter. In the spring, the field can be worked more easily with a secondary tillage pass to create an ideal seedbed.

The Wishek 842NT weighs approximately 1,488 kg/m (1,000 lbs/ft) of implement. This allows it to penetrate hard ground and heavy residue conditions. It can also maintain depth well to help ensure consistent tillage results.
Large concave discs provide superior mixing
The Wishek 842NT can be equipped with 71 cm (28") or 76 cm (30") concave discs. The large diameter helps to mix high volumes of soil at depths up to 19.1 cm (7.5"). Smooth and notched blade options are available. The notched option offers better cutting performance when sizing heavy residue or slicing into hard ground.

To adjust the level from front to rear, the Wishek 842NT comes with a manual levelling screw, offering easy adjustment. For added convenience, an optional hydraulic system allows operators to make this adjustment from the cab.
Protection and precision
The Wishek 842NT tandem disc features spring-cushioned gangs that protect the disc from damage by allowing discs to move and avoid solid objects. Additionally, the rear feathering discs ensure an even soil profile by eliminating ridges created by the front gangs, resulting in a uniform and precise soil finish.
Spring cushion for rock protection
Spring-cushioned gangs on the Wishek 842NT help prevent damage when the discs strike a rock or other foreign object. The gangs can move 152 mm (6") rearward and upward for a total travel of 305 mm (12"). This flexibility helps prevent costly downtime and repairs.
Feathering discs eliminate ridges
The Wishek 842NT has rear feathering discs that smooth out the ridges created by the front gangs. They help create a level soil profile, making seedbed preparation easier in the spring.
Simple depth control
