The awards are coming thick and fast for agricultural machinery manufacturer Väderstad at the moment. Last week they received the ‘Machine of the Year’ award at the world’s largest agricultural exhibition. Now they have also been named ‘Employer Branding Company of the Year’ by research company Universum. At the same time, they also received the ‘Career Company of the Year 2020’ seal of approval and climbed into the top 15 in a national poll of ‘Sweden’s best employers’.

Right now, Agritechnica – the world’s largest agricultural fair – is in full swing in Germany. It’s here that agricultural machinery manufacturers showcase their latest offerings ahead of the coming seasons. Sweden’s Väderstad has confirmed its leading position and once again walked off with the Machine of the Year award with its innovation, Tempo WideLining.

The Swedish agricultural machinery manufacturer Väderstad, which is a global leader in soil cultivation and drilling, is strengthening its presence in Belgium together with Homburg Machinehandel. Homburg, which has long been a partner to Väderstad in the Netherlands and Flemish parts of Belgium, has been the exclusive distributor of Väderstad machinery throughout Belgium since 1 October this year.

In 2019 the Väderstad SeedEye system have been tested and reviewed by the German Agricultural Society DLG with excellent results. During 2020 the unique precision system Väderstad SeedEye is introduced for the seed drills Spirit R 300S, Spirit 600-900C/S as well as Rapid A 600-800C/J.

Väderstad launches a new version of NZ Mounted. Thereby the mounted tine harrow is upgraded with a new 6-metre model, as well as a reinforced frame and a unique versatile drawbar.

With focus set on user-friendliness and operating performance, Väderstad introduces a new integrated portal for making updated instruction manuals and QuickStart movies easily accessible offline in the field.

Väderstad introduces the new DeepLoosening Marathon point. The subsoiling DeepLoosening Marathon point, adds breaking capacity down to 40cm depth for the TopDown and Opus cultivators.

At Agritechnica 2019, Väderstad will introduce the new innovative Tempo WideLining system. WideLining is the worlds’ first tramlining system making it possible for the farmer to spread liquid manure in a standing silage maize crop, without having to lower the total yield potential of the field.

New innovative design, Swedish quality steel, excellent field performance and great capacity. Introducing the all-new 12.5 to 14.25m wide heavy-duty tine harrow Väderstad NZ Extreme 1250-1425.

At Agritechnica, Väderstad are introducing central-fill functionality to the world-record high-speed planter Tempo L. The high-speed planter Väderstad Tempo L will thereby be increasing its capacity even further.
