Väderstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage, seeding and planting, reaches a turnover of 6,1 BSEK during Financial Year 24. Compared to FY23, this is a decrease in sales by 13 percent after a tough year – both for Väderstad as a company and for the whole agricultural industry. 

Väderstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage, seeding, and planting, launches the unique ProDrain disc as an option for the Tempo and Proceed row units. ProDrain is designed to break the soil surface beside the rows, thereby ensuring a weather-resistant surface.

For model year 2025, the hopper capacity of several models will be increased by over 25%, from 3900- to 5000 litres. This gives farmers the opportunity to increase their field efficiency as well as improve logistics.

Väderstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage, seeding and planting, cooperates with the tractor manufacturer Valtra to conduct a field study on adapting the tillage intensity to local variations in the field. The new Väderstad TopDown with E-Services is key to the study, where the setting of the cultivator is adapted to the characteristics of the field using a prescription map.

Väderstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage and seeding, has finished the construction of the expansion of the factory in Väderstad with an additional 12 600 square meters. During the second half of 2024 the new premises will be fully installed with a new paintwork station and additional assembly lines. The aim is for an annual production capacity of 10 000 machines in Väderstad.

Väderstad, one of the world’s leading companies in tillage, seeding and planting, takes the next step in ultra-shallow tillage. For the 2025 season, Väderstad introduces a new version of the disc cultivator Carrier 925, able to hold three disc axles fitted with the unique CrossCutter Disc. This machine will be an important step for mechanical weed control of resistant weeds.
